Last year, I had the pleasure of sitting down with face yoga extraordinaire Fumiko Takatsu for a wild and crazy interview on how to soothe and reinvigorate the 43 muscles in your face.
After a tragic car accident left her face misaligned, Fumiko tried everything before realizing that like the body, the face could be exercised and transformed.
This led her to develop the Face Yoga Method. Since then, she’s published 6 books on the topic, and has appeared on countless radio, TV, and talk shows (as well as in 90+ magazines).
In our video below, Fumiko walks us through the five steps of mastering face yoga, and leads us through a morning facial exercise for starting the day on a high note.
I was amazed by the tenderness I encountered in certain points on my face and the emotional release that followed.

I so enjoyed going through the ‘face yoga’ with Fumiko Takatsu!! She easily helped me from a 7 to a 3.
It would be nice to be infomed about such things.
The facial yoga is so lovely and I thank both of you for showing me these exercises. I have been struggling with double vision and have had tests done and been told that signals are not getting processed properly, and there is NOTHING recommended to help me. After doing the facial yoga I did wonder if there are more eye exercises and facial ones that would help reduce the double vision and the stress caused by having to see two of things just a few feet from my face. Still driving but with one eye closed so I see normally. Thank you so very much.
